LIFESTYLE DRIVEN ADVICE AUGUST 2021
Hello,
In this month's newsletter, we take a moment to pause and thank all of our clients and the hard-working XML team. Together, we have been recognized in the annual Financial Advisor rankings and are thankful for the work we do with our amazing clients.
Next, we pivot to two timely topics with our clients. Investor interest is up, and we often get questions from clients about Roth IRAs. This month we explore the Backdoor Roth IRA contribution, whether you’re eligible and how it may be advantageous to you. Another area of interest with clients is the shifting expectations of wealth particularly in a post-pandemic world. Check out how to create your own definition of wealth moving forward, and let us know how we can help you achieve it.
In May, we held a webinar on Estate Planning, and to build off of that important topic, we're hosting a follow-up webinar on wealth transfer. On Tuesday, September 21 at 12:00 PM ET, join XML's Lauren O'Brien as she hosts a discussion with XML-W's Michelle Cooper and Neuberger Berman's Karen Drancik. Together, they will explore the key themes of estate planning and intergenerational wealth transfer. To register for this engaging and insightful webinar, click here.
As always, if you have any questions about the information shared in the newsletter, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
XML Included In The 2021 FA Magazine Ranking
Every year, Financial Advisor (FA) Magazine releases a ranking of the top RIAs in the country, and we are proud to announce XML Financial Group’s inclusion (#282) on this year’s list. We are honored to be ranked among such esteemed company, and we would like to congratulate our team for their passion, hard work, and dedication. We would also like to thank our clients for their partnership and trust in XML.
On Tuesday, September 21 at 12:00 PM ET, we are holding a follow-up to our May webinar on estate planning to discuss the financial uncertainty that follows the death or disability of a loved one. In a discussion moderated by XML’s Lauren O’Brien, Karen Drancik (Senior Vice President at Neuberger Berman) and XML-W’s Michelle Cooper will discuss the keys to navigating this uncertainty and how proper estate planning can minimize stress and confusion for your loved ones once you are gone.
XML's Brett Bernstein and Curtis Congdon were recently recognized as two of Northern Virginia Magazine's 2021 Top Financial Professionals. Brett and Curtis are honored and appreciative to have been recognized for this distinction and look forward to continuing their hard work with XML and providing outstanding service and value to their clients.
