Life Expectancy May Have Declined, But Your Retirement Plan Should Stay The Same

Life expectancy is a key factor in your retirement strategy. You want to ensure that you have enough money saved to live out your golden years comfortably while still taking advantage of your savings to enjoy all that retirement has to offer. 

According to a recent CDC report, average life expectancy in the U.S. declined by 1.5 years in 2020 — the largest one-year decline in life expectancy since at least World War II. But as this Forbes article explains, life expectancy may have changed last year, but your retirement strategy shouldn’t.
