The ongoing record-high inflation is making a lot of Americans nervous about their financial futures, especially those who are approaching retirement age. Many people are worried that their savings won’t last as long in retirement, but it’s not inflation they should be concerned about—it’s their own longevity.
According to a new report from the TIAA Institute and George Washington University, longevity can have a big impact on how long retirement savings last—even bigger than record-high inflation.
