When it comes to investing and financial planning, women often hold themselves back fearing a misstep - a wrong decision due to shaky financial footing, a fleeting lack of confidence, or a cautious aversion to risk. As part of our dedication to Women’s History Month, XML Financial Group hosted a critical webinar to recognize the significant financial power of women, and address the noticeable lack of confidence many women have towards investing and financial planning, and how they can take control of their finances.
On March 21, Nicole Treiber (Wealth Advisor) was joined by Candice Tse, (Managing Director, Global Client Business at Goldman Sachs Asset Management) for an in-depth conversation about empowering women investors. The open discussion included insights into:

Candice Tse
Candice Tse serves as the global head of the Strategic Advisory Solutions team within Goldman Sachs. Her primary focus is global capital market research, macroeconomic strategy, portfolio construction, and client engagement. However, she is also the driving force behind the EMPOWER the Investor framework, an initiative that aims to elevate the financial success of diverse investor groups including Asian, Black, Hispanic/Latinx, female, and LGBTQ+ individuals. Candice's prior roles at the company include US head of Market Strategy, Institutional Sales, and Portfolio Administration. Beyond her corporate commitments, Candice is a founding board member of the Rutgers Business School's Center for Women in Business. Furthermore, she's an associate board member for Junior Achievement of New York and was recognized in 2021 as a Top 100 Future Leader on the HERoes Role Model List for her dedication to empowering women in business and advocating for workplace gender diversity. Candice is an accomplished scholar, having earned a BS in Marketing, magna cum laude, from Rutgers University and an MBA in Finance and Management from Columbia Business School.
Nicole Treiber is a dedicated Wealth Advisor at XML Financial Group, specializing in offering personalized financial planning and investment strategies to guide clients through different stages of their lives. With nearly a decade of experience in the financial services industry, she is committed to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that each client feels valued and supported. She holds an associate’s degree in psychology and has a rich history of customer service and management experience, bringing a unique perspective to her role. Prior to joining XML in 2014 (previously Lara, May & Associates), she was the Chief Operating Officer of a travel company, demonstrating her exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
