LIFESTYLE DRIVEN ADVICE JULY 2022
Hello,
No two ways about it: capital markets have struggled in 2022. The market’s underwhelming performance has been a common theme of discussion among pundits and analysts, and while that is certainly understandable, it can sometimes lead investors to miss the forest for the trees. In a recent edition of “Wealth Insights,” XML President Curtis Congdon used historical data to add some much-needed perspective to current market conditions.
With this perspective in mind, check out our recent blog post addressing concerns about investors’ financial futures. We shared some encouraging new data about the retirement savings rate in America and explained how investors can navigate market volatility by staying focused on the long term. Additionally, for some investors, “the long term” doesn’t just refer to their own financial futures, but those of future generations of their family as well. We recently discussed generational wealth in a blog post that highlighted a few key tax-efficient strategies for transferring assets that can help you maximize the financial legacy you leave for future generations.
What does the rest of 2022 hold for capital markets? In our latest webinar hosted by Co-CIO and Managing Director of Collins Investment Group, Bob Collins, Fidelity’s Anu Gaggar, CFA®, FRM, CFP®, and Wells Fargo's, Scott Wren, recapped how markets performed in the first half of 2022 and shared their outlook for the rest of the year. If you were unable to attend the webinar or you’d like to watch it again, you can view a recording of the event.
As always, if you have any questions about the information shared in the newsletter, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
