According to a recent survey, half of pre-retired and retired Americans are considering delaying or coming out of retirement. Their financial situations are definitely part of the equation, but not all of it. Many retirees find themselves feeling unmoored and quite bored without having something to do, and work provides the intellectual stimulation, socialization, and occupation they need to truly enjoy their golden years.
