Studies Show That Work Breaks Increase Productivity

Many workers push through the day without taking breaks, but studies overwhelmingly show that pausing for breaks is beneficial. Short breaks, particularly when they offer distance from the workplace and a bit of exercise, can help workers recharge and do better work when they return. Scheduling breaks and fostering a healthy attitude about recharging can encourage workers to take needed breaks.
